They Call Me Kung Fu Panda

I decided to take out my camera today and get some shots in of the kids.  This will probably be one of the last times that I take out the camera and I only have two kiddos around me.  Micah is due any time now and we are all so anxious to have him arrive (mostly me).

The kids love the movie Kung Fu Panda and they quickly picked up on the fact that my belly resembles his.  So, that is what they call me when they are hugging my belly and telling Micah that they are excited to see him.  I love it when they hug me, especially Viggo. Lately all I see are his little eyes peeking over the Kung Fu Belly.  He also tries to make the baby dance by trying to shake my belly as he is saying "shake your booty, shake your booty Micah."  Side note, I don't know what has happened in these last four/three weeks but Viggo has been so sweet.  I have my happy little boy back.  Yes, he still does crazy boy things, but the crazy tantrums have subsided.  I think that was his birthday present to me.  Seriously, there was a point where I was scared to look at him the wrong way for fear that he would blow up.  But, now he is just sweet Viggo, who loves to eat, sleep, and play.

Here are the kids peeking over my belly.

Maybe later today I will be brave enough to take a shot of myself at nine months.  Seriously, my belly (all of me) is ginormous :0)

Christmas at Temple Square

Here are one of the activities I was able to document when we were out and about during our Christmas trip to Utah.  We went to temple square to see their Christmas light display. It was freezing, but we got hot chocolate out of it.  Thanks Kevin and Sara.  I know everyone thought it was too cold, but after I had my hot chocolate I was in paradise.  I loved feeling that cold for a while.  It seems like I  haven't felt cold in forever.

Sorry that some of the pics are more grainy than others.  I was just too lazy to take out my speed light.

I just love this picture.  I just want to know what she was thinking at the time.

This is Lecksa and Anna.  I fell in love with this little girl.  I miss her so much!

Another grainy pic and Tean is out of focus.  But I still love this picture

Andrew and Belem Family Photos

We went up to Utah for Christmas, and I got the opportunity to take pics of David's brother's beautiful family.  Andrew and Belem you have beautiful babies.  Next time hopefully it won't be so cold, and we can have more time to get some more shots in.  I hope you like these so far.  Luv you guys! And yes Belem just had her baby a few weeks ago, and she looks like that.  She is amazing!

Christensen Family Photo Shoot

It's been a while since I had a family photo shoot. I was really excited when Jenna contacted me and asked if I would do it.  I was a little nervous since I am getting less and less mobile.  But I think it went really well.  They were a lot of fun to shoot.  And their little boy, I just wanted to take him home.  He is just so sweet and happy! Thanks Jenna once again for letting me shoot your family :0)

And by the way I just wanted to thank everyone else who has allowed me the opportunity to take pictures of them and their families.  It really has meant a lot to me.  You have all helped me get a little closer to making a dream of mine come true.  Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Getting Ready Christmas

So this weekend we started getting the home ready for Christmas.  The kids had fun taking out all the decorations.  Even though at times they argued about who got to hang what up, I think they really had a good time.

Here they are playing with the nativity scene.  I think this is their favorite decoration, because they can play with it.  This was my favorite item to put up every Christmas too! Later that night we went riding around looking at people's Christmas lights.  Viggo loved it! He was so excited to see all the homes decorated. His favorite one was of Santa falling off a tree, and his pants had fallen so you could see his boxers.  He kept saying "Mira papi mira, Santa tiene chonies."  I have always loved Christmas, but seeing my kids love it makes me just so happy.  Hearing them sing Christmas songs, and watching them watch all the Christmas specials I use to watch, decorating cookies, and just getting into the spirit is so fun.  Sometimes I wish this month would never end..... but this year I am bit excited for December to end because that means I am one more month away from having my baby boy.  Which by the way has an official name.  It will will be Micah! I love it and guess what so does David. Its kinda funny someone pointed out at church that I kept saying the name Michael.  "I can't call him Michael if I have a Viggo."  But then I found this version of Michael and I instantly new it was the one! It means like God.  Yay! So that is my Christmas present to all of you! You don't have to hear me ramble anymore about baby boy names. Hope you are all having fun getting ready for Christmas too!

Fun with Cousins

I love it when David's family comes down.  Leah and her girls came down.  And I don't mean to boast but I have the best nephews and nieces.  They are all so loving, and not too mention they are all so adorable.  Here are some pics from our fun weekend together. I miss them already.

( Sorry for the different color styles in the pictures.  I have just been practicing different overlays on the pictures for fun.)
