Endless days of Summer Washington Style

I don't know how many times I have said this but I don't want Summer to end! We have been having so much fun.  I feel like a kid again.  We go out all day and when we head back home I look in our rear view mirror and see bobbing heads, and I hear the snoring of exhausted children.  I myself struggle to stay up past 9:30 lately.  It's that feeling I had when I was a kid when you would play all day, and once your head reached the pillow you couldn't help but to fall into a deep slumber from all the fun you had.  (I'm sure some tantrums that are thrown here and there also help to deplete their never ending supply of energy.) 

It's so good to have David home. David and I always laugh about how if this was our life day in and day out we would never complain.  Giggles, bruises, bike riding, dancing and singing in the car, picnics, swimming, tan lines, dirty hands and feet, staying up past bed time, having jammy days, cousin time, and tantrums that are thrown because kids bodies are having a fun overload is what summer is all about.  I love it, and wish it would last forever.  But I can feel a change coming.  The nights are getting cooler, and there is that extra chill that tells you soon you will need to bring a sweater.  I know you are coming fall, but I am determined to make these last few weeks feel endless.
